Fun vid! Can I ask what camera/mic setup you used? I've got a GoPro Hero that I really like, but even with the skeleton case the sound is always muffled and quiet. I'd love to capture more of the engine sound at our club track day in June.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll have to try the external mount, that's the only other difference. I've been mounting mine inside on the rear strut bar in the hatch, kind of looking over my shoulder. My car is fairly loud (straight 6, cam, higher compression, resonator delete, aftermarket muffler), but the in-cabin sound is nowhere close to what I can hear even in a full face helmet.

yeah, I used my suction cup mount plus every go pro extension piece I had. Really cantilevered out there.

I've had similar issues with the GoPro mounts. You have to keep it really in close otherwise the leverage really lets it wiggle around out there. I'd love to come up with something a little more secure.
